Today I have a card for the current MFT Sketch Challenge featuring the retired MFT Chinese Take Out dies and Good Fortune stamp sets.
To create a tone on tone effect on the black background piece, I used the pagoda stamp and Versamark ink heat set with clear embossing powder. It definitely added some interest without taking away from the focal image. The third picture below taken at an angle shows part of the tone on tone background.
The chop sticks were die cut with wood grain specialty paper and then cut mid-point so I could extend the length of them. I popped up the takeout container with foam tape leaving a channel of open space for the fortune to slide in to.
Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your day!

What an incredibly clever Valentine, Nancy! I am guessing that it is a Valentine since you posted it on the 14th of February :) But obviously, it could be used for a lot of different occasions and would surely bring a smile to the recipients. Love it!
