MFT Sketch Challenge 485 - Happy Holidays

Hello.  I'm back with another MFT Sketch Challenge card for Christina Hor's Cards for Little Hearts winter card drive.  You can read about Christina's card collection efforts here.

For the back panel I cut a 3 1/2" wide piece of card stock and used a die from the MFT Stitched Basic Edges set to make a fish tail edge at the bottom of it.  Dusty Concord and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks were blended on the panel with a brush, splattered with water, and blotted off.

MFT Hit the Slopes dies were used to make the curved piece of "snow" that the deer is standing on.  I thought the side edges of the fishtail panel looked unfinished without a matching stitched edge detail, so I added MFT Solid Birch Trees to the sides for some added interest.

A die cut deer from the MFT Deer Love set provides a simple focal piece.  The moon was made by die cutting a circle, shifting the die to the right and die cutting it again for a simple crescent shape.  The moon has a light coat of Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink splattered with water.

Christina collects winter theme cards for young children to young adult heart patients.  I think this card will be nice for a young adult male.

Thanks again for stopping by, and have a great day.
