My Story

My card making story is a simple one.  I started paper crafting over 20 years ago when our daughter was about eight years old.

I had boxes and boxes of photographs and wanted to put them in scrapbooks for her.  I finished several years later with six volumes of wonderful memories from her birth through high school graduation and her move across the country to attend college.  I did a lot of journaling in the scrapbooks so that years from now she can look back at her childhood with dates, places, friends and family members all identified.

In 2011, I walked in to a Paper Source store for the first time, and my card making journey began.  I try to live by the Paper Source motto and "do something creative everyday."

I'm really fortunate to have a great, supportive husband of 37 years who doesn't mind my ever-growing stash of card making supplies.  And I really appreciate the encouragement I get from my non card making daughter, sister, sister-in-laws and friends.

My other interests include cooking and baking, especially at the holidays for big family gatherings, party planning and gardening, and always with our sweet Sadie by my side.
