MFT Sketch 452 - HO HO HO

I'm back with one more quick holiday card to donate to Send a Smile 4 Kids before I close-up my crafting room for a few weeks.

The MFT Sketch was a simple one, and although my card didn't come out as I had pictured in my mind, I'm sure the recipient, a hospitalized child, will enjoy it.

MFT Color Challenge 124 - Dashing By

What pretty colors for the current MFT Color Challenge!  I've always liked the combination of blue and green.

My card features the cute Dashing By stamp and die set colored with Copic markers.  For Limelight, I used YG41 and G14 Copic markers, so my green is a deeper shade.  The snowflakes are coated with clear Wink of Stella for some sparkle.

This is the 50th card I've made since the middle of June for the Send a Smile 4 Kids holiday and Cards for Little Hearts winter theme card drives.  I'll be taking a break from card making in September, so it feels good to have some donated cards done so I can start on our personal Christmas cards in October.

MFT Sketch 451 - Brrrring on the Joy!

I'm back with another holiday card to enter in this week's MFT Sketch Challenge.

I took some liberties with the sketch by using a die from the Blueprints 27 set with three squares instead of four, and the squares are flipped to the opposite side.  Other than that, my card is pretty straight forward.  The images were colored with Copic markers, and all of the MFT supplies are listed below.

MFT Sketch 450 - Oh Deer

I'm still working on Christmas and winter theme cards for Send a Smile 4 Kids and Cards for Little Hearts.  I skipped entering a card in  last week's MFT Sketch challenge, but I did get eight cards done last week for the two card drives.  I followed the MFT sketch for a few of them, but I used products from other companies and I prefer not to enter those in the MFT challenges.

The new to me MFT Dashing Deer stamp and die set is my favorite holiday set at the moment.  I think the little deer are so sweet, and they are quick to color with Copic markers.

I made two cards using this week's MFT sketch.  For the "tag" base on the cards, I used a die from the Blueprints 4, Tag Builder set. I made it longer by cutting a bottom and top section out of different papers.  The tag loop at the top was cut off.

MFT Sketch 448 - Ho Ho Ho

Hello, and thanks for stopping by to take a closer look at my card for this week's MFT Sketch challenge.

I made a Christmas card to donate to Send a Smile for Kids.  I've been working on holiday cards for SAS4Kids and Cards for Little Hearts since June.  The sketch challenges are a great jumping point for the cards and I usually make two or three, each slightly different, so I'll be ready to donate to both card drives this fall.
